Leave a Lasting Legacy

Charitable Giving Options

Every gift helps strengthen our community today. With thoughtful planning, your generosity can also create opportunities for future generations of children, families, and older adults across our region.

Whether you're planning your estate or looking for a tax-smart way to give, Chicano Federation is here to help you explore charitable giving options that reflect your values and the impact you hope to make. We're happy to work alongside you and your professional advisors to make the process simple and meaningful.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy while supporting the communities you care about. Planned gifts may include:

  • A gift through your will or living trust
  • Naming Chicano Federation as a beneficiary of your retirement account
  • Naming Chicano Federation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy

Donor-Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) offers a simple and flexible way to support Chicano Federation. You can recommend a grant at any time to help expand access to education, health and wellness, housing, workforce development, and other programs that strengthen our community.

Gifts of Stock

Donating appreciated securities may increase the impact of your generosity while providing potential tax benefits. Please contact us before initiating your transfer so we can provide the appropriate instructions.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Chicano Federation. These gifts may help satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution while supporting our mission.

Share Your Legacy

If you have included Chicano Federation in your estate plans, we would be honored to know. Sharing your intentions allows us to thank you for your generosity, recognize your gift if you choose, and ensure your vision for strengthening our community is carried forward for generations to come.

We encourage you to consult your attorney, financial advisor, or tax professional when making estate planning decisions. We are happy to work alongside your advisors to help facilitate your charitable gift.
